If you're from Portland, it's hard to avoid the overwhelming force that is Nike. TNHF gets lots of support from Nike employees, so it's about time we gave some of it back. 

It's World Aids Day today, and we want to highlight some really cool work Nike is doing in South Africa leading up to the 2010 World Cup. 

Through the sale and promotion of (RED) shoelaces and soccer gear, Nike is supporting Community Soccer Programs throughout South Africa that use soccer to combat the spread of HIV/AIDS. 

It's strikingly similar to TNHF in many ways, but we don't feel any competition. In the fight that is global poverty..."the more the merrier."
